Trade card of Houbaut, musician-in-ordinary to the Comédie Italiene, At the Italian Concert. The image is etched and the text engraved; the capitals of Houbaut's name are decorated with parallel lines. The design consists of a wall monument bearing a plaque with the text and a representation of the shop sign containing an allusion to Houbart's goods and services.

The lower three sides of the square monument are mounted with panels decorated with a fret pattern. Rosette bosses are mounted on the lower corners. A string of beading runs around the central plaque. The cornice of the monument is plain and supported by four volute modillions at the corners. The modillions are decorated with rocaille forms and hearts.

A cloud bank surmounts and drifts in front of the cornice. Sitting on the cloud are three naked putti playing a lyre, violin and clarinet. An open music book rests on the clouds. To the left, there are two books, and a box; to the right, there is a drum, trumpet, sheet of music and three boxes.
